The in-person ceremony has been canceled; a virtual ceremony has been scheduled at the same time. 

Doctor of Medicine and Masters in Medical Education Degree Candidates.

Order of Events

President Bruce Harreld and J. Brooks Jackson, vice president for medical affairs and the Tyrone D. Artz Dean of the Carver College of Medicine, will deliver welcome messages to students, along with Executive Vice President and Provost Montse Fuentes and Iowa Board of Regents President Michael Richards. Christopher S. Cooper, senior associate dean for medical education, will provide introductory remarks. Graduate Hillary O’Brien will be the student speaker. Manish Suneja, clinical professor of internal medicine, will provide the commencement address. Graduate Nouran Felo, 2020 recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, will administer the Hipporatic Oath.
