Doctor of Medicine

Class of 2021

“I am both humbled and honored to be presented with the opportunity to speak at the Carver College of Medicine MD Commencement for our Class of 2021. While this past year has perhaps felt like four years pressed into one, I reflect upon our time at CCOM and wonder how four years could have passed so quickly. It has been not only a privilege to serve as Student Body President while at CCOM, but moreover to be surrounded by classmates and friends who are unrivaled in their compassion, spirit, resilience, and innovation.

I am inspired by my peers each and every day and know the future of medicine simply could not be brighter. May any family, friends, mentors, and faculty and staff reading or listening to our commencement celebrations know that our successes would be all but impossible without your unending encouragement. On behalf of the MD Class of 2021, I thank you for providing us with support so that we may achieve and grow."
