Graduates from the following programs of study (majors) will be recognized:

  • Master of Clinical Anatomy
  • Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in Radiation Sciences

The in-person ceremony has been canceled; a virtual ceremony has been scheduled at the same time.

Order of Events

President Bruce Harreld and David Asprey, associate dean for medical education and professional programs, will deliver welcome messages to students, along with Executive Vice President and Provost Montse Fuentes and Iowa Board of Regents President Michael Richards. They keynote speaker will be Colin Derdeyn; Derdeyn is the Krabbenhoft Chair and DEO of the Department of Radiology, the director of the Iowa Institute of Biomedical Imaging, and professor of radiology and neurology. Tamia Ayoki-Davis, a senior radiation sciences student, will be the student speaker. Gabe Decker, assistant manager of diagnostic radiology, will provide the charge to students. President Harreld will confer degrees.
