How will I know if my request to attend has been approved?

A commencement team member will review and approve your request. You will receive an email with a comment posted on the form you submit indicating it has been approved. A team member will reach out via email if we have any questions. 

The email will come from workflow@uiowa.edu with the subject line: [New Comment] Spring 2025 CLAS and UC Ceremony Change Request.

What should I do to prepare for the ceremony?

• Get your commencement apparel
• Share the guest information area of this website with your guests
• Encourage guests to sign up for the guest subscription newsletter to receive commencement-related emails
• Review the information on the ceremonies page for the ceremony you will attend
